The Israelites Keep The Sabbath

Sabbath Keeping

Hananiah: And God said, “Today is my day of rest, the Sabbath. Therefore, yourselves have to go to home. When you get home, bring out various foods in your house, and let your brethren join you in eating and drinking, so that everybody will have joy, and joyfulness and gladness of heart will abound. And when you finish eating, let everybody go into his house, rest and sleep, until the Sabbath Day is over.”

Those who had rice, foods, they brought the foods out and shared out to others, because there were some people who did not have anything to eat. Many sojourners, who followed the Israelites from Babylon had no possessions. Likewise, their slaves had no possessions. That was when God put the spirit, in them, which spirit they would use to worship Him.
